Our privacy procedures have been implemented to comply with the new GDPR which is effective from May 25, 2018.
Our website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

This policy (together with our terms of use and any other documents referred to on it) sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1998 (the Act), the data controller is Ty Famau Geo Lodges, Llanfair DC, Ruthin, Denbighshire.
If you are booking through Bedful.com our online booking system or Airbnb and our payment system Stripe, you should also refer to their privacy policy (which includes the data they collect) which will be given to you at the time of booking through Bedful.com or via Airbnb.
INFORMATION WE MAY COLLECT FROM YOU
We may collect and process the following data about you: If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence.

We may also ask you to complete surveys that we use for research purposes, although you do not have to respond to them.

Details of your visits to our site including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data, whether this is required for our own billing purposes or otherwise and the resources that you access.

When you make an enquiry, reservation, register with us or join our mailing list the data collected by us may include your name, address, contact details, numbers in your party, names of persons in your party, holiday dates, date the booking was made, how payment will be/was made.

IP ADDRESSES AND COOKIES
We may collect information about your computer, including where available your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration and internal marketing. This is statistical data about our users’ browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual.
For the same reason, we may obtain information about your general internet usage by using a cookie file which is stored on the hard drive of your computer. Cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer’s hard drive. They help us to improve our site and to deliver a better and more personalised service.
Our website includes social media features, these features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our site, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly.
Social media features and widgets are hosted by a third party. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it.

The Local Planning Authority (LPA) may ask to see an up-to-date register of the names and addresses of all occupiers of individual domes and the hut on the site, at the time of their stay, to confirm the holiday units are not being used as permanent residences. The LPA will be shown this information only, details will not be passed onto the LPA in any format.
DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION
We may disclose your personal information to third parties:

In the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets.

Any access request may be subject to a fee of £10.00 to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you. Provision of this information is subject to you providing us with appropriate evidence of your identity
We take appropriate and proportionate measures to secure your personal information and data and to protect it from unlawful use and/or accidental loss. Access to data held by us is limited to the owners of Ty Famau Retreats Ltd.
